Seen a recent news article about our CEO? Here's an explanation of what actually happened and what the media got wrong:
The Moderley Development Apprenticeship Programme is a structured, supportive way to get started in Roblox development, if you have little or no experience in the game development side of Roblox.
This is not a real world apprenticeship, it is all online and can be done anytime, anywhere you have an internet connection.
This is a flexible, community-driven programme designed to help people learn, grow, and gain real development experience at their own pace.
We often struggle to find experienced Roblox Developers to recruit. Many people have an interest in learning Roblox Studio, but have not been able to build a portfolio yet. As a result they are never recruited and given the opportunity to build the experience they need.
Instead of expecting experience, we help you build it.
Through our programme, youβll:
Learn Roblox Studio and Lua scripting
Work alongside experienced developers
Contribute to real Moderley projects
Build skills you can take anywhere
Earn certificates that prove experience
This programme is ideal for:
Beginners interested in Roblox development
People without a strong development portfolio
Students looking to build game development skills
People on benefits who want to stay productive
Neurodivergent or disabled individuals
Anyone who prefers flexible, self-paced work
You must be over the age of 16 to join our head office
You must have a computer capable of handling Roblox Studio
You must be willing to actively learn and engage
You must have a positive and respectful attitude
You must adhere to our group policies and values
No formal experience or portfolio is required, however it will definitely help if you have a basic understanding of Roblox games, communities and the platform.
