After a thorough selection process, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Duncan as Development Director.

The decision followed extensive discussion, interviews, and scenario-based assessments designed to evaluate leadership, project management, training, delegation, communication, and strategic thinking across all areas of development. Both candidates demonstrated considerable strengths and commitment to Moderley, making this a highly competitive decision.

Duncan's appointment reflects his strong focus on operational leadership, project delivery, accountability, and maintaining consistency across the department. Throughout the process, he consistently demonstrated an ability to prioritise work, manage risk, support team members, and make decisions with the wider success of the department in mind.

As Development Director, Duncan will be responsible for overseeing development across all Moderley platforms, including BloxMart, Academy, Transport, Parliament, and future projects, whilst ensuring that developers and apprentices are supported, trained, and equipped to succeed.

We are confident that Duncan's structured approach, commitment to teamwork, and focus on delivering regular updates will help drive the department forward and strengthen development across the organisation.

Alongside the recent appointment of Duncan as Development Director, we are also delighted to announce the appointment of Bry as Group Training Director.

Bry has been a valued member of Moderley and holds a unique place in the organisation's history as Moderley's first-ever Development Apprentice. Since joining, Bry has consistently demonstrated a passion for helping others learn, develop, and succeed within our community.

Throughout recent leadership discussions and assessments, Bry stood out for his commitment to training, mentoring, and supporting team members at all levels. His focus on helping individuals build confidence, understand new skills, and progress within Moderley highlighted the qualities we believe are essential for leading our training programmes.
