Hello,

I wanted to take a moment to issue a long-overdue apology to your team for what happened during my previous time at Moderley.

I formerly worked as a People Team Advisor, and my departure from Moderley was complicated. At the time, I had just gone through a very difficult breakup and was in a vulnerable place. Unfortunately, Charlie, someone I trusted, took advantage of this. He manipulated me during what I later recognized was a manic episode.

Charlie recruited me into his project against Moderley and repeatedly instructed me, through Discord calls, to collect screenshots and other information. He assured me I was “safe” from termination, claiming he had leverage (“skeletons in the closet”) that could be used if Moderley tried to remove me. Ultimately, that proved untrue, and when I was terminated, I realized how badly I had been misled and how much damage it caused.

Charlie also pressured me into giving up some of my Moderley logins, and I still don’t know exactly what was done with it afterward. Since then, I have cut ties with him and all related groups, which have devolved into toxic spaces.

I want to make it clear that I no longer have any association with Charlie or his choices or what he does. I take responsibility for my past involvement and sincerely apologize for the impact it had on the team.

I am reapplying to Moderley because I genuinely want the chance to contribute positively again, this time without outside influence or manipulation. I look forward to working together in peace and harmony if given the opportunity to return as a People Team Advisor.
